Street Wars, Assassins Creed

StreetWars is a 3 week long, 24/7, water gun assassination tournament that has already taken place in New York City, Vancouver, Vienna, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Chicago, Paris and is now coming back to New York City.
This was passed onto me and I was like, this is truly for those who are kids at heart!! It looks like a lot of fun but curious to have seen footage of it in the big apple. I'm sure it changes your outlook on things once you get into the game. Plus you can look at it as what better excuse to run around NY acting crazy, let's just hope Po Po doesn't get carried away!!
Doodle Master

I have been drawing my whole life as far as my family tells me. It's a great thing when you get to come across heads that share the same labor of love for their craft as well. He is a person that holds a rep when it comes to the Graff game and even crosses over into our industry. Dontay is one of my peers who has inspired me to experiment even more with my sketching. This takes me back to the A&D days. I recall during the mid 90's when I first started traveling to LA and doing graphic illustrations for RAPPAGES, Dontay was doing graphic illustrations for VIBE. We won't post those just yet but once Dontay posts his VIBE catalog I'll post mine from RAPPAGES. He just showed me his new blog spot where he will start showcasing more of his "doodles". I did ask him if he was sure he wanted to do so and he says "Those ain't even Mugs, they're just doodles". Keep looking to see more posts from Dontay TC5

Birthday Celebration Pt2

Not to sure what kind of aerial acrobatics Blust was trying to do but we all got a good laugh out of it!!!
All the hard work that Angel has put into the yard along with the hard work my sister's contributed to the party I thank you, we all thank you!!!
Oh wow, she has the "No te atrevas" (don't even try it) face while holding onto a camera, cell phone and any other kind of electronic devices so she doesn't get thrown in
The aftermath of getting caught, lucky for us we jumped in with you so you had someone to hold down so you can stay afloat
Running a bit late with the post of these pics but here they are. I have to admit it was a beautiful day to have a BBQ/Pool Party/BDay celebration. The invitation went out to a lot of people but not too many showed up. I like to think of it as the ride out there is a long one but once you get there you will see that is was worth it!! We will see what happens the next time a bbq is called. Needless to say those that showed up had a great time and I had a great time having them over. Thank you again for taking the trip out to my family's house.

And Suns 5th Anniversary Collaborations

Celebrating their 5th year on the come up, And Suns was able to get together a pretty impressive roster of people to do collaboratives with. The boys of Mothergreen & HKM were able to get down with this as well as our brethren over at Get Free, Wheatbread Life and Grin & Fury. Aside from the immediate crew they've teamed up with Heavyweights in the Graff game such as Jonone, Phase2, Cope2 and Reas. Aside from us here on the western front they've also teamed up with Mackdaddy, Hex Anti-Style, Gigglyroy and Real Mad Hectic to name a few. We salute and give thanks to the good ol' boys of And Suns

Pinstriping
Just the other day Bluster passed this onto me. We were doing some research for work and we happen to come across this. Now this is truly a craft because not everyone can do it. It takes a certain type of individual to do these types of work. Your mind works differently, not to mention the amount of patience you need to complete such a project. This is truly the labor of love. Respect due the people of this craft.

Birthday Celebration pt1
Rare indeed to see Sung and Blust in suits. They were able to chill for a moment before going to a wedding reception for West.

Okay Jaszick, I see you being rude again texting people while at a party... just wait the smack fest will start!!!

For my birthday and to my surprise a small get together was set for me. It was a good time and felt even better to be around crew. Sometimes you can't let work pull you away from fam. So this is part 1, we're having part 2 coming up soon after this weekend.

Walking with Dinosaurs

I'm a bit late with this post but I recently had the chance to go to see the "Walking with Dinosaurs" show that came to MSG. I got to take my big homey Christian and he really enjoyed the show. We both were amazed by the how they were able to make them come to life. Just the fact that they were to scale and you were always able to see this because the announcer was always on the floor. If the show comes to your town then by all means take the lil' homies to watch it. I took a few pics and a couple of short movies but of course they didn't come out that good but here they are.

WestOne FC Art Show

Recognized as one of the most prolific artists in the New York Graffiti scene throughout the 1980's and 90's. He began painting on the number 1 Broadway local subway line in 1984. Throughout the 1990's, West, along with his 'Fame City' crew has been recognized as a major influence in the NYC graffiti movement with large scale graffiti mural paintings. Since 2001 West has pushed into the realms of abstract expressionism and stripped the artform of all of it's traditional trappings of color, medium, and process. As a result a new unique language has emerged.
West has been an inspiration to me within the world of Graff and Fashion along side of the rest of the FC & Original PNB family. I can never give credit alone without mentioning Brue, Blust, Serge, Sung, Dash and Dontay in the same breath. I missed out on the opportunity to go to Paris to check the show but next time for sure. For more info go to the Galerie Magda Danyz.
