Just trying to be patient and waiting for nice weather to come around to get busy. Recently we've all been pushing each other to do black books and just keep our minds active during the winter season. Also due to being snowed in a recent black book session was canceled. Here's a quick video for your viewing pleasure.Labels: Black Book Masters, EOS, FC, Graffiti, Vins
The good ole boys from The Cool 5ive have contributed a lot to the game we call graffiti. Check out the the showcase they are having at dirtypilot.com. I grabbed a few samples to get you open but to peep the techniques check here. Labels: black books, Graffiti, TC5
One day I recall "the Ambassador" WaneOne showing up to the office to visit the crew. He showed me pics from his recent trip to Miami. Dude is all over the maps (one of the most consistent internationally and nationally) bro!!!! He began to tell me of this art expo he went to in Miami and how he knew it was going to blow up. A few years later I completely forgot and come to find out, afterwards of course, the crew was there. I have yet to get finished pics of all their pieces but I know there are some floating around. You can click here for Primary Flight who has great coverage of the walls. These pics were courtesy of our homey Liz, Thanks for hooking it up!! Unfortunately I don't know who all of the artists are as well as have all the pics from the show. I'll say this much, next time its a go!!

I just got this pic. I was asked to be a part but couldn't fit in the time to go and even though I ain't a part of this wall it is still official FC tissue and wanted to rep the crew. I also have been cleaning a few things out and came across some old pics and wanted to share them with you.

Unfortunately I don't have the full wall connection but the line is Dos, Camp, Jabs and Vins. Total different ball game back then. I'm even in the pic doing some work.

I have been fiending to go and paint. Been really wanting to pull out a 2 man production but just not prepared enough to make it happen this time around. So for now this is enough just to get my feet wet before diving in. Linked up with Sye early this morning and started on our painting adventure. With what ever scraps I had I was able to pull this together. Got to pull out my "get busy" FC gloves.
Complete and ready to go. I had to laugh cause Sye did white highlights (had him up against the ropes). A rarety for the man. We really wanted to add a character but didn't get a chance to beat the clock.

As of recent I've been dealing with certain things that have taken precedence over my painting (going out and painting that is). So in order not to get backed up I decided to let loose a bit into my black book. When I show the crew everyone has funny comments about the pieces. Dontay TC5 thinks I've lost my mind. Sye TC5 tells me he doesn't have time to do black books but he'd rather make time to go out and paint, which he does religiously. Bluster FC is constantly sketching and painting which lets me know that I can always make some time to release some steam and do a page in my black book. I have a few things I'd love to experiment with but haven't figured out how to go about doing so. Back in the days I hardly did color pieces. Now it's just about growth and trying to experiment, which I have yet to do because in my crazy mind I'm trying to work it out. All in due time but for now I present my recent black book session editions.
